Impuls voor hervormingsproces in Kenia met Nederlandse steun

Met een ruime meerderheid van stemmen heeft de Keniaanse bevolking gisteren middels een referendum ingestemd met een nieuwe grondwet. Deze uitkomst en het vreedzaam verloop van het referendum betekenen een geweldig mandaat voor politieke hervormers in Kenia, die zich met steun van het Nederlands Instituut voor Meerpartijendemocratie (NIMD) hebben ingezet voor een nieuwe grondwet.
